Featuring 31 Christian Women Bloggers Who Inspire
A Closer Walk with Jesus and Change Lives
I prayed over my Write 31 Days Series intently. In July, I started planning the series which is entitled 31 Christian Women Bloggers Who Inspire a Closer Walk with Jesus. Then, one day, a little idea came into my mind. I wondered if it was from God; so, I prayed. Then I contacted some of my favorite bloggers, and many said yes!
How do you even begin to compile such a list? I based my selection on women whom I personally followed over the last four years. I also solicited recommendations from trusted blogging friends.
What do I hope to accomplish introducing you to these dynamic Christian women bloggers? Even though my focus is on them, the mission of my series is to glorify and honor Jesus, our Savior and to sew together a beautiful tapestry of grace and love.
These Christian women bloggers do not seek fame or fortune. They offer their words as gifts to others to encourage and uplift, to glorify our Lord and Savior.
The schedule of the series and the Christian women bloggers who I will feature follow:
October 3: Kate Motaung: A Word Sister in Christ
October 6: Lori Schumaker : Reaching Out to The Broken
October 11: Holly Barrett : A Woman of Testimony
October 14: Susan Chamberlain Shipe : Woman of Hope
October 15: Christina Hubbard : Poetic Worshiper of Chris
October 18: Tami Qualls Glorifying God Through Motherhood
October 19:Susan Mead : Dancing With Jesus
October 20:Maggie Winterton : Devotional Diva for Jesus
October 21: Karrilee Aggett : Abiding Love, Abounding Grace
October 22: Seeking God with Jaime Wiebel
October 26: Crystal Stine
October 27: Teri Lynne Underwood : Mom Prayer Warrior
October 28: Jessica VanRoekel
October 29: Katie M. Reid
October 30: Asheritah Ciuciu of One Thing Alone
October 31: Deb Wolf of Counting My Blessing
In addition to launching this series, it is time to rejoin the Five Minute Friday community. Kate Motaung leads this group of lovely bloggers who gather each week to write on a one word prompt. This week’s prompt is “collect” in honor of the book, Five Minute Friday: A Collection of Stories Written in Five Minutes Flat, collected and compiled by Susan Shipe with a forward by Lisa-Jo Baker. I am so honored to have been selected as contributor to this book. Many of the bloggers that I interviewed for my series are also contributors.
All proceeds from the book are going to two different ministries in South Africa! I hope you will consider purchasing. It is available on Amazon here.
Collecting Our Stories
Together To Honor Him
Matthew 6:20
Collect for yourselves treasures in heaven,
Where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves don’t break in and steal.
9:30
I love to collect stories, jewels and pearls for my spiritual mind. I seek them as gold.
The beauty told
To me lightens my load and
Heartache, Tribulations and Woes
Let us come together and spin tales of love, beauty,
Enriching our minds, lightening our hearts
With His Promises
We collect together in community of love and friendship
Each of us have treasures to give
Memories, stories and testimonies
From which we can find encouragement, joy, faith
Faith that sustains us
Uplifts us
Moves us to action
Creates in us desires to Honor God
to Paint His Word in our Hearts and Minds
Creating a tapestry of hope and love
We, Christian women bloggers and writers
in the Five Minute Community
Collect together to Shine Forth
His Truth, Hope and Love
Forever changing lives,
Endowing a Future
A Heaven
that Shines in Each of Our Hearts.
As we being the Write 31 Days Challenge, may we all gather together and uplift one another. Encouraging each other in our endeavors. May we find words that inspire, motivate and change us forever. As we write may we worship and glorify our Savior and Lord. Amen.
