My Media Kit

My Vision

I started this blog in January 2013 as a way to write for Jesus.  I wanted to influence the world for Him. I delved in without much knowledge of blogging and am still learning the “ropes” after almost three years of blogging.

Purpose

Living Christ centered, I write my blog, Mary-andering Creatively, to honor Him. I share my heart and my words to bring His hope and encouragement to women everywhere. My focus is faith, family, and home life. I hope in sharing my stories you will find His love and purpose for your life.

Mission Statement

The Bible says in Proverbs that without vision the people will perish. My mission for this blog is to point others to the life-saving reality of Christ. In my blog posts, I strive to share daily truths and love nuggets that I find as I walk with Him.

Who I Am : A Poetic Biography

I am a composition of years, blending together into a complicated portrait of a woman. As a former journalist, I wrote stories involving joy, heartache, and love. As an educator, I helped children grow and learn about their world and society. As a mother and grandmother, I help shape my child’s and grandchildren’s futures.

We all share titles and positions in our lives. At some point in life, I have served as writer, photographer, educator, and social worker. My life travels have taken me across the United States from California to Ohio, Florida, Georgia,Virginia, and South Carolina. I am moving forward as a disabled, retired educator and journalist, hoping to share my love of storytelling for Him with others.
