Maggie Winterton loves true devotional writing. She took over Devotional Diva® in 2014 after Renee Fisher felt called to step down as Editor-in-Chief.
Maggie Winterton strives to “inspire and inspirit” women through writing, speaking and editing Devotional Diva. She’s currently a nomadic military wife, but is originally from Iowa. Maggie is a self-asserted princess, Diet Pepsi addict and animal lover.
Her tagline is “inspire and inspirit.”

Maggie Winterton: Biography
I’m Maggie Winterton, owner and editor-in-chief of Devotional Diva. I’m a US military wife, mommy and pet lover currently living overseas. As a Christian, I’m striving to spread love. At Devotional Diva, I devote myself to inspiring women, spurring them forward and helping them share their stories!
Maggie Winterton : Her Gospel story: How she came to know Christ as her Savior.
Here’s the blog post I wrote for Devotional Diva on that…

But basically, my parents were Christians who felt a little lost and didn’t have a church home. They sent me to a Lutheran preschool and I learned more about Jesus. I decided I wanted to go to Sunday school too so I made them take me, and eventually we all ended up in an awesome church. I’ve always felt really called to be a Christian and because of my parents’ original distance from the church, it was my choice to attend church and become baptized.
Her Favorite Verse and How It Became Important to Her
My favorite verse is Timothy 4:12
Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young.
Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.
There’s a lot of meaning to this verse to me. The young part, to me, isn’t really very important. I won’t be young forever. I do, however, intend to set an example of love for everyone (not just believers). That’s definitely my hope with Devotional Diva and my whole life! So yes, it’s my life verse.
Her Blogging Story
My blogging story is unique, I guess, because I took over Devotional Diva from the founder, Renee Fisher, in 2014. I started as a guest blogger and had my own blog prior. I purchased Devotional Diva from Renee in 2016!
Originally I asked Renee if I could guest blog because I wanted to share my story! It ended up being healing for me, and encouraging for other women.
Her Blogging Mission
To inspire women, spur them forward (Heb. 10:24) and help them share their stories!

A Personal Blogging Story
Recently, I’ve been sharing a lot about my travels around Europe. I had a reader who has never been able to travel at all and emailed me to tell me that she enjoys seeing my adventures. I was so glad to hear that. That’s why I do this!
