Karrilee Aggett: Gospel story, How she came to know Christ as her Savior.
I was raised in a spiritual home but my parents did not want to force religion on us. This simply meant that we were not clearly presented with options so we dabbled here and there and when I was 21, I heard the story of Jesus for the first time. I had watched my sister and her family go from religion to religion, searching for the Truth, so I watched and waited to see if Jesus was it. Of course, He was and is and I made my own faith commitment a few months later!
Her Favorite Verse and How It Became Important to Her
Well, our Family Life verse is Ephesians 2:10… but my personal favorite verse is found in Jeremiah 33:3 “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” That verse came to me after many months of being gently awakened at 3:33 a.m. by the Lord. I finally asked Him why this was happening, and I saw in my spirit “Jer 33:3” written out and went to look it up and immediately fell in love! The Lord will often times still wake me up throughout the night to pray… sometimes I get out of bed and sometimes I stay under the covers but if it is at 3:33, I grab my journal and a glass of water and sit with Him awhile!
Her Blogging Story
I started blogging over ten years ago out of simple obedience! God asked me to do it but I didn’t even know what a blog was! I had been attending a prayer meeting on Tuesday mornings and the Lord asked me to give Him a year of Tuesdays… to go and pray, then go home and write what I saw or heard. Of course, I fell in love with blogging and even after that prayer meeting stopped gathering together, I keep right on meeting with Jesus and writing whatever He shows me!
Her Blogging Mission
To encourage and share the love of God and let everyone know how much He loves and desires relationship and intimacy with them! To live out and write out and encourage others to walk out the call to Speak Life… to Be Love… to Shine On in our normal, everyday lives!

Her Three Favorite Posts
Now listen, I feel like this is a trick question because anyone who knows me knows that I am the worst at picking favorites! I just can’t do it! And since I have been blogging for over ten years, I don’t even know! But here are three of my current favorites:
1. Where I Write About My Husband…
2. What Is It About This Kitchen Floor?
3. When It’s Vital (and Humbling) to Know Who He Says You Are
What Inspires Her to Write for Christ?
Him. He prompts me and pulls me and shows up and teaches me what I need to know as I sit down to write! My heart breaks for those who do not grasp how great He is and how complete His love is for them!
Her Favorite Song
Again, with the favorites! Right now… (as in, this week!) my favorite song is: Thank You by Jonathan David Helser

A Personal Blogging Story
I have been blessed to hear from several readers over the years. The community that happens in the blogging world is the best, and I have been honored to pray for several of them and love when we can connect, whether via email, in the comment section, or on other social media platforms!
Her Blogging Tips
I’m still not a Grown Up Blogger. I love it when I actually write ahead of time and have posts pre-scheduled, but that is just not how He lets me do it very often. The best advice I can give is to not get caught up in the numbers… the hits, views, comments, etc. I know that is so much easier said than done, but honestly – write it for Him and trust that He will put it in front of the one or ones who need it most!
Last Minute Thoughts On Inspiration and Uplifting
When the Lord gave me my personal mission, which has also become my tagline, several years ago –it came to me in a season when I was worried about missing out on my big picture destiny. He assured me that if I (and you, I believe!) would purpose to live my life everyday doing these three things, then I will not miss the plans and purposes that He has for me (and for you!) So each day, my intention is to, say it with me now, Speak Life. Be Love. And Shine On.
