Tami Qualls: Biography
I am a 40 year old wife and mom. I worked outside the home for the majority of my two older children’s lives. They are now 19 and 17. I recently left my job to focus on my youngest son’s speech needs and to homeschool. He is 3 1/2.
Tami Qualls : Gospel story, How she came to know Christ as her Savior.
I remember sitting in youth class at the age of 12. Our teacher was talking about hell and how everyone deserves to go to hell. I had always been told how good of a girl I was growing up. It hit me that I too was going to hell. I decided to repent of my sins and accept Jesus as my Savior. That was the best decision I’ve ever made.
Her Favorite Verse and How It Became Important to Her
“Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.”
Her Blogging Story
I first started blogging to just journal my thoughts. Then I was offered the opportunity to read a book without paying for it. I was hooked on writing reviews at that point. My first book review was

Last Minute Thoughts On Inspiration and Uplifting
Being a mom is extremely difficult, especially when your child is in the middle of a meltdown and you are just too fatigued to give your child and the situation your ‘best’. Those days, I just want to give up. I want to walk out the door. I want to abandon my family and live alone in a one bedroom apartment buried in a good book. (Yes, I just admitted to that.)
Yet, I am reminded that I have had days like this before. I got through those days, sometimes just holding onto the fact that I know my Savior wants me to stay put. This particular ‘bad moment’, like all the others, would eventually pass. Then we would have our wonderfully cherished memories to create … the laughing, the snuggling, the conversations.
Knowing my purpose is to glorify Him through my calling as a mother, I am able to get through those ‘bad moments’ and continue being the mom my kiddos need. Not a perfect mom, just a mom who is present and intentional.
