Psalm 18:3
I call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised, And I am saved from my enemies.

Yesterday in my post, I shared from my heart about the struggles we are facing with my mom’s health.
It has been a long week of touch and go. I feared my mom’s brain damage might be permanent, but I found a ray of hope when the doctors reported low sodium contributed to her issues of falling and confusion. I decided to praise God in these reports because the low sodium levels explained so much.
I never knew low sodium could lead to falling and confusion. When you combine low sodium with recent brain surgery serious problems arise. She began falling over a week and half ago. She fell nine times in four days. Her last fall lead to a spinal fracture for which she needed yet another surgery.
Tonight, I sit in her hospital room with praise and prayers rising because I know God has her in His hands. My mom’s confusion is almost subsided. She has a few bouts when she is tired, but she is improving daily. She goes to rehab next week; and I cling to faith that God will take care of her.
She loves God so much. Her pastor is missing her Sunday school lessons.
Please pray with me that my mother’s recovery enables her to return to teaching and all the things she loves to do. Thank you.
