We are like a new born star. A new and beautiful creation in Christ.
I have been focused a lot lately on Holly Gerth’s book, You’re Already Amazing. My focus has been about self-concept and finding truth in how God sees me. I struggle with self doubt just as you do. But guess what, if you have accepted the Lord, Jesus, as your Savior then you are a new creation in Him. You are not a failure. You are loved. You are not what or who you were. You’re new in Him because of His death on the cross.

We are nearing Easter and focusing on Lent, a time of giving up, fasting, and symbolic letting go.
My focus: letting go of the lies that Satan feeds us, daughters of God.
His love for us is so deep and real. He sees as beautiful and amazing.
That is the Good News for you to cling to this Holy Season.
Ways to know that you are a New Creation in Him.
- You wake up with different goals and dreams.
- You have a deep peace that doesn’t make sense in your present circumstances.
- You want to know Him and grow in Him.
- You want to spread the word far and wide about how He is at work in your life so that others will seek Him too.
Do you remember when you accepted Him and became “new” Him? Share your story today in the comments.

Amen! You are amazing too. I’m over in the #13 spot at FMF this week.
First of all thank you for the beautiful and encouraging post. The Lord knew I needed it. I became a Christian when I was 6 years old, and I am now 32. I am thankful for the salvation I have, and thankful for a loving and patient God…especially when I feel like I’ve failed Him many times.
