I Have Been Blessed

May 31, 2015 By Mary Hill 6 Comments

10 Things Thankful for May 31st

There is as song we sing at our church on a regular basis. It is all about how I am so blessed.

It is a song that emphasizes the blessings that we experiences.

The lyrics are so beautiful:

The pen of the writer could write everyday

even this world could never contain

how I’ve been blessed –

God’s blessing pour out in mass on my life.

I have a shoulder to lean on. I have a home, I have roof over my head, shoes on my feet.

I count all the ways I have been blessed. God has been so good to me in so many ways.

This week in particular, He has blessed me with a beautiful family, my husband and daughter.

KR practices pitching recently.

KR practices pitching recently.

KR is my pride and joy. She is an athlete, scholar, and wonderful daughter. She finishes sixth grade this week! She has been on the A Honor Roll all year. Her lowest A is a 98.

Tomorrow, night she plays in an important tournament. I know she is going to do well.

He has also blessed us with great weather this week. It is raining as I write.  We have had wonderful sunshine and rain has come in just the right amounts to bring beautiful Spring flowers.

I have also had special blessings in my writing and blogging. My twitter followers topped 3,000 and my blog email subscribers surpassed 1,260 this week! I am also thrilled to report that close to 70 bloggers have participated in the Literacy Musing Mondays linkup on my blog.  Here is a link to this week’s linkup. I hope you will consider joining us.

I also had some really positive feedback to my announcement to join the Alzheimer’s Longest Day project on June 21.  I hope you will join us too.  Just click here to see the original post! Together as bloggers we can make a huge difference!

I am curious where you love to just have your tulips coming up now. Your KR looks so intense and polished in her concentration. It’s a lovely photo of her that you have shared with us.

Vanessa, these are flowers that were in a public garden in my area. They are really pretty and a sign of the season. I just have roses and day lilies in my beds. I have some pretty flowers in pots too. 😉
