Change Coming to the Dynamic Literacy Musing Mondays Community

October 10, 2016 By Mary Hill 9 Comments

Change is coming to the dynamic Literacy Musing Mondays community. The #LMMLinkup is a community of bloggers who love family-friendly literature that uplifts and teaches. First, we have two new hosts coming on board. We will be introducing them in the next couple of weeks. Let’s just say these two ladies really want to help us expand and grow into an even more dynamic community.

Another change will be in the timing. Because we are all family-orientated, we felt trying to go live on Sunday means we sometimes are working Sundays to bring the linkup to you. We will now go live on Monday mornings. I hope you will pardon our mess as we move toward change. Thanks for your support.

I also want to encourage my readers to continue reading my series 31 Christian Women Bloggers Who Inspire a Closer Walk with Jesus. Have I selected a blogger you know and love? Be sure check out my landing page to see whom I will be writing about this month. This series is part of the annual October Write 31 Days Challenge. 31 Days is an online writing challenge started by home blogger, Myquillyn Smith (The Nester), and now hosted by Crystal Stine, where bloggers pick one topic and write a post on that topic every day in October.

What do I hope to accomplish introducing you to these dynamic Christian women bloggers? Even though my focus is on them, the mission of my series is to glorify and honor Jesus, our Savior and to sew together a beautiful tapestry of grace and love. These Christian women bloggers do not seek fame or fortune. These women are concerned about your walk with Christ and write to help you draw nearer to Him,
They offer their words as gifts to others to encourage and uplift, to glorify our Lord and Savior. I hope my series will bless you whether you blog or not.
Many of these women also contributed to the Five Minute Friday Book: A Collection of Stories Written in Five Minutes Flat. I also contributed to this book which features the best writing of Kate Motaung’s Five Minute Friday community.
I am so proud about my participation in this book because all profits from the book will be divided equally between two ministries in South Africa: The Vine School in Cape Town, and The Ten Dollar Tribe!
I hope you will consider supporting us by purchasing a copy of the book on Amazon.

My Teacher For President Book Review

By Carrie at My Book Boost

teacher4prez1

With the ugly and nastiness of this year’s election this post is a fresh breath of air.  I really wish the Presidential election this year was like this book. It gave me a great idea too. I am going to write in one of my daughter’s favorite teachers for president. She would be a lovely candidate when you think about the two major party candidates. Not taking sides here, but this whole election is awful.

My Favorite Post of the Week:

Linkup Rules:

  1. Include a link back or the blog hop button linked to this hop on your posts.
  2. Link up the urls to your posts not to your blog.
  3. Please remember this is a family-friendly linkup. Although we believe in the right for adults to read whatever they want to read, we prefer to read wholesome posts that feature literature that edify and uplift families. We reserve the right to delete any posts that are not family friendly. We love all kinds of literature and genres including family-friendly inspirational romances, fantasy, or science fiction. We do not welcome any posts that feature excessive violence, sexual content, or any cursing. This rule also applies to book review posts that feature books that are not family-friendly. These posts will be deleted without notice to the blogger or explanation. While we believe in the right for all adults to read whatever they want,  we feel our linkup is for family-friendly posts only. Thank you for understanding.
  4. We also want to be loving community by supporting one another. Please make a point to do this this week! Visit the two posts before yours and at least one other blogger’s post of your choice!  I want to see lots of clicks on everyone’s posts. Remember it is also nice to follow them on their social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook.
  5. Follow your hosts and co-hosts on their social media.
  6. Tweet about the link up too.

Thank you so much for recommending my post “A Prayer for the Suffering” this week. I definitely needed the encouragement this morning. It has been a difficult weekend full of pain that left me discouraged and I think I need to read my own post today and pray this prayer for myself! Funny how that happens. Thank you again! My post today is directed to people just like YOU!

Sounds like some exciting changes! I’ve stopped blogging most weekend because of the very same family time argument. I felt like I wasn’t being present with the rest of the family and I didn’t like that at all.
