My mom sits in her a recliner in her hospital room. She has moved about well all day and experienced only momentary confusion.
“I think my sodium levels may be dropping a little lower. My mouth is dry,” she told the nurse assistant when they took her vitals. On the television, she has our local Christian station.
The singing group performs a slow version of the famous Gospel song, “Just a Little Talk with Jesus.”
“Now let us have a little talk with Jesus
Let us tell Him all about our troubles
He will hear our faintest cry, He will answer by and by
And when you feel a little prayer wheel turnin’
And you will know a little fire is burnin’
Find a little talk with Jesus makes it right”
My mom sings along sweetly in her high soprano. My late father traveled as an evangelist, preaching revivals in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina during the late 1970’s and 1980’s. Mom always accompanied him and sung: “The Love of God is Greater Far.”
Thank you everyone for your continued prayers. Hopefully, she will move from the hospital to rehab Monday.
