A Creative, Warm Reading Corner for My Daughter for Wordless Wednesday

October 2, 2013 By Mary Hill 11 Comments

Curl up with a good book in a cozy reading corner of magic that you create for your child. When you take time to make reading magical, it will pay huge dividends. Read more on this post. 🙂

Reading should also involving journaling and fun activities like this about locker books. 😉

Looks like a comfy corner! We’ve built a type of reading cave for my son with lots of different books, puzzles and colored pencils (for those activities). Oh, and tons of pillows. It’s turned into one of his favorite places. Glad your daughter gets to experience this too!

I’m with you! I miss those ‘curl up with a good book days’ with the kids….and grandkids are miles away. ~sigh~

So lovely, wish I had a reading corner like that. Your daughter is lucky you know the value of reading.

It sure does. I did this with my grand babies and they are both avid readers now.

    Have a terrific day. ☺

I love the convenience of my Kindle, but it doesn’t give me the warm fuzzies like a well-appointed home library. Your daughter’s corner looks inviting!
