In my Sunday post of Thankfulness, I alluded to our adventure of looking at airplanes and copters with our grandson. We went to a aviation show in Greenwood, SC Saturday. The show was part of the annual Festival of Flowers which Greenwood residents hold each June.
It was hot, humid, and fun, but I will be honest. The temperature was almost 95, so, I got cranky. Because of the humidity, it felt closer to 108 degrees out there. Despite my crankiness and hotness, though, I still enjoyed the day and came away with these pictures.

I am sharing in the following hops. Also be sure to check out my Wednesday blog hop page for even more Wordless Wednesday hops to join. 🙂

Airshows are fun but I haven’t been to one in years. I’d love to go to one again. My husband loves airplanes 🙂 Great pics!!
Hi Mary, Thanks for dropping by my blog! You got some good shots at the air show. Depending on the where the sun is, getting shots that aren’t backlit is tough. But you got some good ones. Even the ones of your family by the plane and helicopter are nicely framed! I hope my tips can help you learn more about getting great shots! Have a good weekend.
