1. July 24th is Amelia Earhart Day. Earhart was the first female to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. What’s something you’ve recently accomplished solo?
Most recently I accomplished creating my blog. I have only been blogging consistently since March.
2. What’s one product you use that never ever fails? A book. It is simple, sometimes big, other times large. Every book has a story to tell.
3. Have you found your place in the world? Where is it? Right at home with my family.
4. Worst movie you ever saw? Oblivion. It was hard to follow, long and drawn out.
6. The month of July is named for Roman Emperor Julius Caesar…ever been to Rome? What’s your favorite Italian dish? No, I have not been to Rome and I love pizza,
7. What is one piece of advice you’d offer new mom Kate Middleton? Enjoy everyday as your baby grows. Make sure you sing to him, tickle his toes, and love him. The first year flies by, and the baby grows into a toddler and then young child. The next thing you know, the baby is a grown man.
8. Insert your own random thought here. I will share some pictures for Wordless Wednesday.

I agree with your advice to Kate. Before you know it, they are grown and you’ll miss those baby moments.
I enjoyed the little video. I haven’t been to the zoo in ages!
I think all the parents are saying the same thing! Treasure the moments when they’re little, they grow so fast. Have a great rest of the week!
Thanks for dropping by our blog today. It’s so nice meeting you. We enjoyed your questions and answers above, so our mom wanted to share her answers to a couple of them. Mommy has two least favorite movies: The Garden of the Finzi-Contenies (you’re probably too young to remember that one) and Bonfires of the Vanities. She also loves Italy and Rome. Her favorite Italian city is Siena. And she finally found her place in the world one year ago when she started blogging. Hope you’ll visit us again. Happy Wordless Wednesday!!! Thank you for the visit, it’s good to learn more about you. Hope you are having a lovely day.
Oh and thanks for Featuring us.
Amelia’s a legend, she did what she loved right to the end. So sweet you picked your family. You’re so right about books and I have to disagree with you on Oblivion. It is hard to follow in some ways but I loved the movie and it is the best of Tom Cruise in a while. Love your Kate advice. Great post for Hodge Podge Wednesday. You find some really nice hops Mary.
How fun.
I had to laugh about the least favorite movie. I would have added it had Tom Cruise in it too. That makes it even worse.
Loved the video at the end. Your zoo trip I’m sure.
Have a fabulous day. ☺
Your #7 is so true! I can’t believe that my first grandson is almost 1 1/2 and I haven’t even seen him in person yet!
So true, a book will never fail to take you away, entertain, or educate, and sometimes even make you angry! Thanks for the warning on Oblivion.
Congrats on the blog, you’ve done a wonderful job!
I have supportive readers like you.
