10 Things Thankful: It’s Vacation Time

Twas the night before our beach vacation

The house was a mess and suitcases strewn here and there

The washer spun and the dryer churned

To get clothes ready for packing.

We leave in less than five hours and of course I can’t sleep.

Out of my husband and daughter, I hear barely a tweep.

Thankful the hubby is driving because I don’t think I will close my eyes as

I wait for the dryer to finish its drying of our last load.

I hoping against hope that Lizzi has not closed the linky

So I can spread my vacation cheer.

A quick hop over, and yes it is still there.

Will I be able to read all the other posts,

Finish the packing and alas get a shower in time to spare?

Did you guys install Windows 10?

I like it, but it is making it difficult to get this post done.

I can’t find my Microsoft Picturer Editor thing-a-bob to add my post picture.

So this one is still somewhat on topic.

I loved that it was free and jumped me up several years, but

Vacay 10 things thankful list.

Yea, the photo memory card slot on my computer finally worked and I was able to upload some pre-vacationey shots.

The one above is my daughter who braided her hair; so, it will look curly for the first day of the trip.

Below are the bags, yea. Almost there.

Now I must off to bed get so I can sleep for three hours til we leave.

 

I will check in throughout the week, but cannot promise any posts until I return at the end of the week. 🙂

PS This little guy is off to his aunts, and we have help from my mom, daughter, and a wonderful neighbor watching the home front, and all the other critters we have running around.
