Though we walk in the midst of trouble, He preserves our life… with His right hand He saves us… and His love endures forever. (Psalm 138:7)
No matter the storm.
No matter the calamity.
We have a Lord Jesus in whom we can place our Trust.
He will see us through!
The storm clouds rolled in my life over the last few weeks,
But Jesus’s Love Prevailed!
His Salvation so sure!
He knows my future. He knows yours!
He has all the storms in our lives in mighty hand.
No matter when rivers overrun their banks and
Threaten lives, homes, and futures.
[tweetthis twitter_handles=”@MaryHill”]He will hold us through every storm that buffets us.[/tweetthis]
He is Faithful.
He is Wonderful.
He is mighty.
You can trust in Him to see you through.
Keeping it simple and real today as I write about Trust.
If you have not already read this post about the flooding in South Carolina. Please do so. I have updated it with new information too. South Carolina needs your help! God will use this storm to perform miracles. Please come and be a part of His work in helping our SC flood victims recover. He needs you and wants to bless you as He unveils His perfect will and show how glorious He is even in the most tragic, devastating storms.
I really believe He is at work in this storm. He will help us through. He could wave His hands and the flooding would be gone and our state restored, but He has a real plan even in this tragic time to bless His church and to use us for His glory!

Continuing to write for 31 Days, an online writing challenge started by home blogger, Myquillyn Smith (The Nester), and now hosted by Crystal Stine, where bloggers pick one topic and write a post on that topic every day in October. I am also joining my friend Kate Motaung and my friends from the Five Minute Friday community during this challenge. Kate worked with community bloggers to develop the 2015 edition of 31 Days of Five Minute Free Writes, a writing link-up in conjunction with the annual Write 31 Days Challenge. For the five minute, free write sessions, Kate encouraged bloggers to submit ideas for one-word prompts for each day of the challenge. Today’s word: “Trust.”

Mary, this is so beautiful. I am right in the middle of a hard time and I’m clinging hard to trust, knowing the Lord is fighting on my behalf. Though the billows roll, I need not be shaken off my Rock. Thank you for this wonderful little pep talk. I love what you are doing with this series!

By the way, your photos in the header are lovely!
Thanks, Michele, your prayers are appreciated. 🙂
Wonderful! SC has been much in my prayers this week.
Also, I hope you don’t mind me sharing but I have to put on my lawyer hat for a minute to get the word out that the SC Bar is giving free legal help to those affected by flooding. Information is here: http://www.scbar.org/News/News-Details/ArticleId/2211/FREE-LEGAL-ASSISTANCE-AVAILABLE-FOR-SOUTH-CAROLINA-FLOOD-VICTIMS
And I hope anyone so moved will spread that far and wide!
(Note: I have no affiliation with the SC Bar, I just thought it was helpful info to have out there.)

Sarah, thanks for stopping by and showing your support.
Praying for the flooding and all being affected in SC. Visiting from FMF where I’m parked in the #11 spot.
Beautiful! You and I had similar ideas. I’m posting a praise and worship video every third day. Don’t you just love Lauren Daigle? Thank you for the timely reminder about the ultimate sacrifice Jesus made for us by dying so we can live. Even in the storms of life, God’s presence is there, to help and guide us .
This song is so sweet. It is the first I heard from her. I did a search on Youtube using the word “trust.” Thanks for stopping by.
