By Mary Hill
I have joined the party a few days late. I found out about this yesterday and just now getting to sit down and thing about my approach. Nothing like jumping head first into something, knowing it works out. Life is too short for perfection. 😉 I am combining the first three days into one quick post.
- SUNDAY: Discuss goals for the week and enter the challenge giveaways.
I touched upon this topic in my Sunday/Monday post.
I finalizing my review of Chasing Hope by Kathryn Cushman. It seems things take so much time between sweeping, working on my review, cooking, more housework. You get the picture. The review is nearing the finishing line. 🙂
MONDAY: The sisters charged us with writing a fall poem. Basically, we were to write a little poem about fall.
Autumn’s Bounding In
By Mary Hill
Fiery flames falling to the ground
Warm, late summer’s eve gives
Sway to autumn’s bound
Autumn comes to the party slowly
Working her magic in the trees
She wields a paint brush
To create a portrait of lush
Autumn colors and stories
Told by trees undressing for the long winter’s glories.
That is all for now. Will continue play catch up all week as await activities at the Bibliophile Sister’s site.
Happy reading everyone and be sure to check out the Fall Into Reading challenge. Close to 40 book review bloggers have signed on. 🙂
