10 Thankful Things : Grace

November 16, 2014 By Mary Hill 8 Comments

God's grace even provides for the least of creatures. His grace applies to me too.

God’s grace even provides for the least of His creatures. His grace applies to me too and is all I need.

Thankful For Jesus’s Grace

Grace is God’s undeserved favor. He died for me simply because of love for mankind. He came as a little baby more than 2,000 years ago, but He grew up with one destination in mind: the shedding of blood on Calvary’s tree. He painted a picture of grace for you and me.

I listened to this song to day and my writer’s mind kicked in. I have 10 things to be grateful for regarding God’s grace.

John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth

  1. Grace is free. The poorest to richest can receive Jesus’s Grace.
  2. Grace extends to all if they will accept it.
  3. Grace came through sacrificial love.
  4. Grace is powerful and life saving.
  5. Grace changes lives.
  6. Grace can be renewed daily.
  7. Grace can never be taken away.
  8. Grace is the foundation of my faith.
  9. Grace comes with love and a promise of  everlasting life.  All we have to do is accept the Grace sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
  10. My family has accepted this grace: my mother, sister and brothers, my husband, his children, mine and his daughter have all made confessions of faith in Jesus. I am so proud that when I reach heaven they will all be there with me. My father is already there waiting for us to come.

Have you accepted grace’s promise? It is there for you. I hope you will believe in Him today. If you need prayer please leave me a note in the comments. I want to pray for you this week.

Ephesians 2:4-9 But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ— by grace you have been saved—and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

The same Light of Grace from God that shines into this dark world shines through these words you share here, Mary. Clear. Bright. True. Thank you for choosing to allow Him to work through you… ALL IN.

Christ’s sacrifice for us, out of His love, was the pivotal moment in the history of this earth. Without Him, we have no purpose.
