I love the beautiful fall trees in my neighborhood. Fall scenery made my 10 Things Thankful list this week.
This week’s ten things of thankful is easy peasy.
- My daughter is away on her first overnight trip with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She is at Myrtle Beach with 500 plus middle schoolers from all over the state. They left Friday before school let out.
- I am thankful for our adult PRO FCA team of volunteers who took off Friday and spent the whole weekend making sure our middle schoolers were safe. Think about that age group for a minute and you will see why I am so grateful. The team make up includes parents, local youth pastors, and teachers.
- I am on a tangent of course. I found a great new blogger friend who just started. Please check our her cute blog at :ย http://www.inspirememama.com/2014/11/little-random-facts-about-me.html
- My husband is continuing to participate in the American Cancer Societyโs No Shave November. ย He is joining hundreds of thousands of men to raise awareness about prostate cancer. Picture will be added later so check back. He is asleep right now. ๐
- My daughter is coming home today. I missed her so much. Please pray for travel mercies for the whole group.
- I was featured by Misty Leask on Family Fun Friday. ๐ This hop is so fun every week. It has a great range of bloggers participating.

- I got to spend time with my little granddaughter one on one yesterday.
- I enjoyed lots of pretty fall scenery this week.
- My husband and I had two date nights this weekend. ๐
- I had the opportunity to grow in my love for Christ and read my Bible. I am so thankful for our religious freedom. I pray for those in other countries who suffer because they are Christian. I know I am guilty of taking our religious freedoms for granted. Without it my daughter would not have great activities which help her grow too. ย I am so thankful that my daughter gets to attend Christian activities through the FCA without fear of repercussions ๐

Hello Mary! ๐ Thank you SO very much for taking the time to notice me and hold a spot on your blog post for me. That is SO sweet and kind! So are YOU! I left you a thank you response to your comments on my page as well. Thank you very much! I hope to stay in touch. May God hold you in the palm of His hand and continue to surround you with His love, kindness, presence and blessings every single day. ๐ xoxo
Funny, when you said you couldn’t get a photo of your husband because he was sleeping, I was thinking, “Sounds like a perfect time to snap a picture.” ๐
It is wonderful to have fun, safe activities for our middle schoolers.
Yay for two date nights!
Date nights are great, and having two in one week is even better!
A wonderful list of thankfuls, especially for the adults who supervised the students. I would be extremely grateful I didn’t have to volunteer for that! Your Fall photos are lovely. I’ve been enjoying the beautiful colors for awhile now, before Winter settles. in. Congrats on your Family Fun Friday feature and I’ll be sure to visit your new blog friend.
Valerie, thanks for stopping by. I really appreciate your support.
so where is the unshorn photo!? I love that idea about not shaving… hope your girl is home safely and you cont to enjoy time with the family…
Zoe, my husband was lazy today and would not cooperate. I am going to his plant tomorrow. A bunch of his fellow workers are participating. I hope they will pose for a group pic. ๐
What a wonderful list of thankfuls. I hope that your daughter had a blast and I could sure use a date night about now. Hard when Al can’t walk but once he can I’ll rack up the date nights ๐
I love the fall pictures. I can’t ever get enough of that.
Two date nights? Beautiful ๐ I hope you thoroughly enjoyed yourselves.
I hope your daughter’s back home safe and sound now. Glad you had fun with your granddaughter ๐
