Blooming flowers and trees with warm days constantly greet me.
I want to break out in dance. I want to dig and plant. The weather man says to wait until after April 15. I am so tempted to not wait, but what if the frost and cold weather returns. It is a chance I will take.
Chance-takers and dreamers sung their hearts out on The Voice tonight. I miss my daughter pursuing song.

Instead she is baking lately. Right now a chocolate-chip cookie pizza is in the oven. Like I need a chocolate-chip cookie pizza. I promise, just a small, small slice with 1/4 cup of vanilla ice cream, and tablespoon of whipped cream. Okay, diet blown.
Now, The Voice is off and we are watching Fixer Upper and work on a worm house, an old house with ugly brick work. Nice image with my slice of cookie pizza. Doesn’t matter, it is sooo goood. Diet definitely blown.
My daughter wanted us to wait 3o minutes to give the cookie a chance to harden. Didn’t make it; so we ate cookie globs. I only had a small piece. My daughter ate one and my husband two. I wanted to take a better picture, but didn’t think about it until after we had wolfed down half of the cookie pizza.
Redesigning houses, singing, family time and stretching on the couch. What a wonderful night.
How does your family spend time together?
Note: I missed this weekend and Monday because I had to write my #LMMLinkup review of the National Geographic Kids books. Hoping to get back in the swing of my March Slice of Life series now.
I will also be joining great hops listed on my linkup parties page.

We love cookies in any form! If we had cable, I’m sure we’d watch Fixer Upper. I went to college in Waco, so I love seeing what they do to the old houses around there.

Two beautiful things in one plate. Heaven.
Cookie pizza is the best! My family loves to watch “The Voice”, too!
What a perfect picture of a beautiful family evening! The photo of the cookie pizza looks delish! It’s worth the blown diet. 😉 We LOVE “The Voice” in our house, too!
This is great. I’m a Voice & Fixer Upper fan…and who doesn’t love a good cookie pizza 🙂
