Ready or not — our roads to travel spread out on the horizon and form a path to our futures. Will we overcome, will we find joy or despair? Our fates are in His hands.
He awaits me on the other side.
I look back on that time and see I continue down the same path. I still defer travel to see where He wishes me to go. I eagerly anticipate His call home, but I know my hiatus on this world continues and I seek to reach others about His love.
He is calling you and me to Him. He loves you the same as He did the day He created you in your mother’s womb. Will you answer is simple call? Or you ready to meet Him? Do you know if you will be with Him when you die? Or is there doubt in your heart?
You can be ready. It is simple: pray, ask for His forgiveness and invite Him to be your Lord and Savior. Then you will start a journey of which you never dreamed as He works out in you His plans for your life.
I meditate on these scriptures :
I Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
1 Corinthians 16:13 Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.
Colossians 4:2 Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving.
God is coming soon. He will return for us. I hope you are ready for Him.
