Overcoming Blogging Difficulties

blogging difficulties

What to do when you face blogging difficulties. 🙂

I can’t see. Good, he has finally moved.

I sit here tonight trying to type my blog, but as you can see my cat can get other ideas. He loves to do this right when I open my computer and start to write.

This blogging difficulty is easy to manage.  A little encouragement and he moves to sit beside me.

Other blogging difficulties are not so easy to overcome:  what to write, when to write, fitting it all in and having a life. How do I attract readers?  Do I start a Periscope broadcast?

I have been at this for three years now. I am making modest progress with my goals. My readership is increasing with almost 4,600 blog subscribers.  Next, though, I face the task of encouraging my dear readers to open my newsletters and actually read my blog.

I hope you will consider subscribing after reading this post.  My mission for this blog is two-fold:  pointing others to Christ and encouraging and inspiring others about Christ’s love in their lives through my blog entries.

I try my hand at affiliate ads. I have made a total of $25. It really isn’t about the money, but I would love to make a few more dollars simply because I want to give it back to you in the form of prizes.

I am thinking about launching a program soon for fellow bloggers to buy sidebar ads along with featuring them in sponsored posts. If you are interested just email me at marykatbpcsc 45 @ gmail.com.

You can check out my reader’s stats which I just updated on my media kit page.

I am also looking at building some resources for my readers on Spiritual Growth. I hope to start a program to giveaway freebies to my blog subscribers soon.

What do you think you would like for me to include in my subscriber freebies?  Would you like inspirational printouts of my blog graphics?  A compilation of favorite blog posts?  Please give me feedback in my comments section.

Thank you for reading. 🙂

What a cute cat! I understand your blogging difficulties. I have a fraction of the subscribers you do and still it’s hard getting them to open my newsletter. It’s in my list to revamp it this week. Thanks for sharing with Small Victories Sunday Linkup. Tweeted

Your cat is too funny. Sounds like you are making great progress in your blogging goals. I’ve been at this for 8 years and have no clue how many real subscribers I have. I hope and pray my words encourage others. Blessings!
