Today’s blog was supposed to be about minimum wage and the impact a low minimum wage has on the poor, headlines, however dictate another issue.
My heart goes out to the victims of yesterday’s massacre in Boston during an event that was supposed to bring pride in accomplishments and joy in achievement. Instead the day was filled with terror and chaos. Lost was a little boy, age 8, who died so senselessly. His name was Martin. Why do terrorists inact such horrible tragedy?

I watched events unfold yesterday with a heavy heart. Not again, not again. Too many have died in mass shootings in the last few months and now this.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families.
