Lord, Create in Me A Clean Heart

October 3, 2017 By Mary Hill 10 Comments

Psalm 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

Create Me Lord Anew

Create in me Lord a Love for You

Create in me a great desire to worship you.

Let me raise my hands to you

Love You more and more each day.

You Lord are my Savior, My Life, My love

Create in me a new heart turned to You.

You fill me with your Spirit every morning.

I should never start my day without You Lord.

The sun rises in the east and sets in the west.

The birds fly on high and I lift my eyes

in Prayer

I cannot proceed without You.

I am lost when I do not acknowledge You.

Lord, you are God.

Lord, you are the true Spirit of renewal.

My need for you feels every pore

Every chamber of my heart beats for Your touch.

Lord, I need you to create in me daily

A heart for You

A heart that beats for You

A heart that Longs for You

When I wake up, create in me a deep thirst that can only be quenched by time with You, in Your Word,  in Praise of You.

Create me Lord into the woman you want me to be.

A woman who longs for you.

Who wants to spread your love so far and wide

Who cannot sleep until she sings of Your love to all she meets and knows.

My prayer is to draw close to You.

To be recreated in Your Image

To be lost in you so that all people see is You not Me.

I want to drip your love all around me

I want to pour your truth into the hearts of my children

So that you can create in them clean hearts.

“Create me Lord into the woman you want me to be” can be so hard when I want Him to create me into the woman I want to be! Thanks for the inspiration!

“I want to drip your love all around me.” <—YES! I get too caught up in perfection and criticism and forget to just let God's love drip all around me!
