New Year Goals
We are starting up the New Year with prayer and goals.
I enjoy reading your posts each week. This week, I especially look forward to reading posts about goal setting and starting the New Year in ways that help you grow closer to Jesus. Please definitely link any of these posts up even if they are from prior years. We could always use great tips on goal setting and spiritual growth for a New Year.
As always, however, any of your posts related to literacy, writing, blogging tips, book reviews, and devotionals are welcome.
This year a big goal of mine is to have more participation in reading and commenting on each others blogs. Please commit to reading the blog next to yours when you link up. Shares and comments are such a blessing to bloggers.
Also in the comment box below this week, please feel free to include suggestions on improving our weekly linkup. We value your feedback.
Now let’s

Last Week’s Top Clicked Post!

The Importance of the Incarnation
This post really blessed me and gives a solid-Biblical discussion on the birth of Jesus and why his incarnation matters to the world. I highly recommend reading this post.

Why Read through the Bible in 2018?
By Donna Reidland
We all need to pay attention this post with offers real and hard-hitting reasons to make reading God’s Word a priority in 2018. She also includes some interesting facts including that you can read the Bible in just 70 hours. Reading His word really is all about devotion and commitment to our loving Savior. I hope you will stop by this post for some real encouragement this week.
Now, it is time to link up to the Literacy Musing Mondays hop!

Linkup Rules:
-
- Include a link back or the blog hop button linked to this hop on your posts.
- Link up the urls to your posts not to your blog.
- Please remember this is a family-friendly linkup. Although we believe in the right for adults to read whatever they want to read, we prefer to read wholesome posts that feature literature that edify and uplift families. We reserve the right to delete any posts that are not family friendly. We love all kinds of literature and genres including family-friendly inspirational romances, fantasy, or science fiction. We do not welcome any posts that feature excessive violence, sexual content, or any cursing. This rule also applies to book review posts that feature books that are not family-friendly. These posts will be deleted without notice to the blogger or explanation. While we believe in the right for all adults to read whatever they want, we feel our linkup is for family-friendly posts only. Thank you for understanding.
- We also want to be loving community by supporting one another. Please make a point to do this this week! Visit the two posts before yours and at least one other blogger’s post of your choice! I want to see lots of clicks on everyone’s posts. Remember it is also nice to follow them on their social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook.
- Follow your hosts and co-hosts on their social media.
- Tweet about the link up too.
Be sure to check out my Linkup Parties page for great blog hops that I join each week.

Thanks for giving us the nudge to really commit to our resolutions or one words in 2018, Mary. I’m hoping my pursuit of my “one word” will radically change me in noticeable ways this year. And I always love Donna’s content! Thanks for highlighting her and hosting this linkup!

Happy New Year to you Mary! The January Book Nook is open at Create With Joy! But I can’t post it – receiving a “maximum link up” error even though I haven’t added a single link! Look forward to linking up once the issue is resolved!

Just wanted to say that I visited you today. Couldn’t link up. But happy New YEar Sister 🙂 blessings ahead
I love this linkup, Mary! It’s a great place to meet new people and find more to read. For some reason it’s telling me that it’s reached the maximum amount of linkups, but there is only one. Not sure what the problem is. Hope you can figure it out.
Blessings to you!
I wondered why there was only one link! I had the same error message. And I agree with Michele; I don’t think there’s a need to change what you do, and I appreciate you.
Mary, I am having the same problem. I love your link-up. I have no suggestions on my end. Looking forward to being able to link-up later today. Happy New Year! Maree

Sorry, I was away today and fixed the issue. Letting everyone know now.

I also can’t link up due to the same issue Debbie described. This has happened the last few times you hosted the linkup. Please let me know when the issue is fixed. Thanks Mary!

Mary, I can’t think of any way you could improve this community. Even though the membership changes and you’ve weathered the coming and going of a number of hostesses, it’s still a great place to share our writing and to make new friends. I do appreciate the way you’ve persevered in this ministry.

Hi Mary I tried to link up and it says I’ve reach my maximum number of links. Strange. I only tried to link up one.
I got the same message, but it did let me link up one post.
