LMML: Celebrating Easter

April 10, 2017 By Mary Hill 13 Comments

Welcome back to Literacy Musing Mondays. We are entering Holy Week of Easter with prayer and love.

Easter is more than hunting eggs, although that is the fun part for our children.

It is also about remember the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior more than 2000 years ago on the cross.

How do you honor Christ this week? I hope you have a wonderful holiday as we mark the great Love that Christ displayed for us all.

God Bless and Happy Easter.

I’m so glad to see Michele’s post being highlighted today. She always gives us such great resources and reviews. I also have never made “hot cross” buns before. And the imagery of the cross is one that is so powerful as we turn our eyes to Christ’s death and resurrection. Thanks so much, ladies, for providing a great linkup and resources from around the web! Happy Easter to all of you too!

Easter egg hunting is not that big here and we only started recently. But it’s indeed fun for the kids. May you have a meaningful Holy Week!

Thanks so much for featuring our post on Hot Cross Buns from Mary and Martha’s House. I enjoyed so much researching the story behind Hot Cross buns. So many times we don’t realize the rich history some of our recipes hold. Appreciate so much you hosting and for allowing me to tell the story behind Hot Cross Buns. Blessed Easter to every one.

Mary — Happy Easter! Thank you for hosting the link up.

    Blessings,

    Maree

I accidently deleted my post from this week. I saw this strange button next to my post, and I clicked it. Found out it was the delete button. I hope it didn’t cause any problems when I linked it back a second time.
