Day 30: React to this term: Letting Go
It is day 30 of the Blog Everyday in May challenge. My time does fly. Just one more day, and we will be letting go and moving on to new challenges and new things.
Letting go in life is something we all have to face at one time or another. It can be a bittersweet time when we have to let go of a friend who is moving on to new things. Other times, letting go can be a joyous time like when we let go of bad feelings and make up with someone close to us. What have you had to let go of lately? Has it been a good experience or a challenging one? I don’t like using the term “bad.” We can turn bad into challenge, and it is a more positive way to look at life. We can learn and grow from all challenges.
It is Thursday. One of my favorite days because I love my Thursday hop sponsored by Katie, over at Dysfunction Junction.

I am also joining another fav blog hop: Thursday’s Favorite Things, hosted by Katherine’s Corner.
Finally, I am also helping out a fellow author by posting information about her latest book. Hope you enjoy!
Author Rachael Renee Anderson
Rachael Anderson is the author of four books: Divinely Designed, Luck of the Draw, Minor Adjustments, and The Reluctant Bachelorette. She’s the mother of four and is pretty good at breaking up fights, or at least sending guilty parties to their rooms. She can’t sing, doesn’t dance, and despises tragedies. But she recently figured out how yeast works and can now make homemade bread, which she is really good at eating.
Working It Out
A chance encounter . . .
Grace Warren’s life is safe and predictable—exactly the way she likes it. But when she gets roped into going to an auction to help out a friend, everything changes. She meets Seth Tuttle—a guy who unexpectedly kisses her then disappears, leaving her flustered and upset. If she never sees him again, it will be too soon.
A chance for love . . .
Weeks later, when Seth limps into Grace’s rehab clinic post surgery, she immediately recognizes him. Unfortunately, he’s every bit as frustrating and annoying as she remembered. Yet there’s something about him that makes her second-guess her carefully placed boundaries even though he’s everything she’s sure she doesn’t want in a man. But maybe Seth is exactly what Grace has needed all along—assuming she’s willing to risk safe and predictable for a chance at love.

Letting go can be hard…
Congrats to Rachel on her new release. Sounds good.
Best! Have a great day:)
Sorry for your losses. I had to leave relationship over twelve years ago. I hates leaving my husband then, but I found the love of my life afterwards. I hate that your daughter did that to you, Yvonne. Will pray for you. Seoul hope you find a better friend who respects and loves you. Will pray for you too.
I had to recently let go of my oldest friend because our friendship had become so one-sided that I couldn’t be her friend and enjoy my own life. It hurts that I had to do it, but I’m so glad that I did.
Letting go is all part of life whatever circumstances, I have had to accept my daughter don’t want me in her life so with a sad heart I have to let her go and let both of us get on living.
Yvonne.
