A few years ago, I read Holly Gerth’s book, You’re Already Amazing (affiliate link). As I read it, my focus centered on self-concept and finding truth in how God sees me. Reading this book made a big difference in my life because I discovered God works in me daily to make me different and to stand out for Him.
His plan for my life involves creating a new person of strong faith. I walk daily in this plan. Sometimes, I struggle, but He is there for me. He desires to be there for you, too, in your struggles.
Remember, if f you have accepted the Lord, Jesus, as your Savior, then you are a new creation in Him. You are not a failure. You are loved. You are not what or who you were. You’re unique and different in Jesus because of His death on the cross.
His love for us is so deep and real. He sees us as beautiful and amazing. That is the Good News for you to cling to as we enter a new Holy Season.
Ways to know that you are a New and Different Creation in Him.
- You wake up with different goals and dreams.
- You have a deep peace that doesn’t make sense in your present circumstances.
- You want to know Him and grow in Him.
- You want to spread the word far and wide about how He is at work in your life so that others will seek Him too.
