Jesus says, Hold On, I Am Coming

October 7, 2017 By Mary Hill Leave a Comment

Hold On by 33 Miles from john-11-44 on GodTube.

Hebrews 10:23 “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering,

for He who promised is faithful”

Psalm 139: 10 “Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.”

My grasp slips and I feel like I am about to drown in the heart break and misery of life.

I can’t see my way through in the darkness.

I hear a voice whisper, “Hold on, I am coming.”

He reaches out and I feel scars marring His hand.

“Don’t let go, I will lead you through.”

His tender voice makes me weep.

I am found and rescued.

I hold on for dear life.

The winds crash around me, and my cry is lost in the noise.

But, he hears me. And grasps my hand tighter, holding on with all His might.

My faith soared.

He would never leave me.

I just held on in the storm.

Walking through until the clouds cleared and I could see the sunshine.

I turned to my Savior.

His eyes glistened with love.

The storm over, He still held my hand.

I saw more clouds on the horizon.

More storms were coming.

I know my eyes must have shown fear.

“Just hold on, I will never let you go. ”

Jesus says: No matter how high the winds or harsh the rain, I will never let go so just hold on.

My message to my reader is simple.

We face storms and troubles. Sometimes, we feel lost and afraid. We lose our way.

Just cry out and He will hear you.

Are you going through struggles today?

Reach out and take His hand.

He will hold on and never let go when you take that hand in faith.

I know, He took my hand and held on when I faced the hardest times in my life: the death of a loved one, divorce, financial troubles, betrayal, health problems, and deep betrayals.

Through it all, He holds on.

He will see you through.

You may feel undeserving. You are. We don’t deserve His love and salvation, but He loves us so much.

He reaches His hand out to all.

Just take it and hold on.

Turn your life over to Him and He will never let go.
