Finding joy in Christ takes a daily walk and focus on things not of this world.
We struggle with different issues. Mine is pain and lack of focus, but I push through with the intent to succeed.
I would rather post late than fail to try at all.
God honors our attempts. We never fail if we do not quit.
Joy involves a different focus. We don’t focus on the here and now. We don’t focus on our ups and downs and daily struggles. We focus on Christ as He writes joy into our hearts.
When we persevere despite our outward circumstances and refuse to accept defeat, we find strength and joy in Him.
I am praying that you find joy today.
Thank you for your support.

We do not welcome any posts that feature excessive violence, sexual content, or any cursing. This rule also applies to book review posts that feature books that are not family-friendly. I will delete these posts without notice to the blogger or explanation. While I believe in the right for all adults to read whatever they want, we feel our linkup is for family-friendly posts only. Thank you for understanding.
- We also want to be a loving community by supporting one another. Please encourage each other this week! Visit the two posts before yours and at least one other blogger’s post of your choice! Thanks for featuring my decade post! Happy new year!
Years ago I often heard the saying “keep on keeping on.” Thanks for the encouragement to do that.

Thanks for featuring my post on waiting, Mary. I love your thoughts here, even as I am still waiting: “Joy involves a different focus. We don’t focus on the here and now. We don’t focus on our ups and downs and daily struggles. We focus on Christ as He writes joy into our hearts.” HE has His joy to give here.
