Encouragement for the Mommy Who Wants to Give Up!

May 16, 2016 By Mary Hill 8 Comments

Are you ready to throw in the towel. Ready to give in? Ready to Quit? I have a message of encouragement just for you!

Mommy, God has one message for you today:

 DON’T GIVE UP

Encouragement for Mommy- Fear Not the Road Ahead!

He created the universe, threw the beautiful stars into the sky, and breathed on the sand to create man.

He brought the universe out of nothing.

I know you are sitting there thinking:

“But you don’t know all I am going through.”

I don’t, but I know the ONE WHO DOES!

I know the one who sprinkled oxygen into our atmosphere from a holy vial and created rain that comes down and waters my flowers and lawn.

I know the one who breathes and the winds blow cooling air through the trees.

I know the one who made the eagles that soar high in the sky.

My God’s got this. He’s got every situation you ever faced and will ever face!

Proverbs 18:10 : His very name is a fortifying tower! Run to it with all your might. He is your protection.

Remember This Message of Encouragement

Mommy, when your baby cries or has earaches and fevers, and you’re worn out and tired.  When you tween talks back to you and makes you feel small. When your teen makes a terrible decision that rocks the foundations of your family, God awaits with His loving arms.

He will wrap you up and comfort you in His loving blanket of holiness and righteousness. He offers a balm of encouragement and will be your strength and your fortress in times of troubles.

When you feel your marriage is on rocky straights; when your husband leaves or abandons you; when you feel all hope is gone: Christ waits. He knows every pain you feel and will experience.

He suffered extreme beatings for you. He suffered the cross. He suffered death. He suffered humiliation and debasement.

That crying baby is nothing compared to what He went through.

He ordained you as a mommy. He presented you with a precious gift: the privilege to guide young minds and to love your man with all your might.

He will bind you and restore your marriage. He will keep you safe and fill you with love and peace that passes all understanding.

Late at night when you are your loneliest and you face uncertainty and fear remember this simple scripture. It is God’s special message of encouragement just for you!

Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Thank you, Mary. I needed this at the exact moment I came across it tonight! My favorite verse to share with young mommies (mostly because it encourages me so much!) is Isaiah 40:11 He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will carry the lambs in his arms, holding them close to his heart. He will gently lead the mother sheep with their young.

Thanks for sharing with us at Booknificent Thursday on Mommynificent.com this week!

This is a nice piece of motivation for all moms. Yes, god has in mind all that we are going through, and with our own belief of His strength we can move on. I’m not familiar with the psalms but they seem quite encouraging too, to anybody. Thanks for sharing them. 🙂

What a sweet, and I am sure -much needed encouragement! I always think of that verse in Psalms that says And you will lay down and your sleep will be sweet! 😉
