Today, I have another contributing writer who is highlighting an important cause. Take notes and let’s join together to help her make this effort a great success. Together we can make a difference. Take it away Holly!
Hello! I am Holly from Not Done Growing. Not Done Growing is my little place in the world where I can share all the things that give me joy and happiness. On any given week you will see posts about crafting, a new recipe, family life, or find a new charity to support. I strive for Not Done Growing to be an inspiration in living a happy and charitable life. As part of my charitable life, I run a Charity of the Month series on my blog. Each month I pick a new charity to feature. This month’s Charity of the Month is Feeding America.
| Feeding America: Ways to Give |
Feeding America is the nation’s leading domestic hunger-relief charity. Their food bank network supplies food to more than 37 million Americans. They can only do this with our help and support!

| Feed a Child Breakfast for 3 months |
Please take a moment to check out Feeding America. Their Ways to Give page has donation options for all levels. For a small gift of only $12, you can feed a child breakfast for three months. Just think about it, $12 would be as simple as making your own coffee for a week and skipping that fancy coffee house one.
Even if you cannot give money, you can still help Feeding America by becoming a new follower at Not Done Growing. Each month I will donate $1 for the first 50 new followers to my blog to the current Charity of the Month. You can follow in any way that you choose, simply pick an option. If you already follow one way, feel free to add another:
Feeding America’s mission is simply to feed America’s hungry, let’s see if we can join together to help them out this month! I’d also like to thank Mary for giving me this chance to help spread the word on such a great charity! Mary’s blogs are an inspiration, and I am honored to have such a lovely lady share her world with me.
Thanks Holly. It is up to us. By the way, I will attempt another Wordless Wednesdays for Social Causes blog hop next Wednesday. I want to concentrate on a theme which will be: “Feeding the Hungry.” Have your kids make signs and take their pictures. Go to a foodbank and volunteer and take pictures. I hope to get out to my local foodbank too and take my own pictures and post them on my site. We can make a huge difference together. Thanks.
