Celebrating Advent Near to Jesus

Hebrews 10:22 

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith,

our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience,

and our bodies washed with pure water.

Light the first candle of Advent as we await the arrival of the Christ child.

Draw our hearts near to Jesus.

Worship Him.

I am like Mary as I approach these sacred times.

I want to sing out:

Luke 1

“With all my heart I glorify the Lord!
47     In the depths of who I am I rejoice in God my savior.
48 He has looked with favor on the low status of his servant.
Look! From now on, everyone will consider me highly favored
49         because the mighty one has done great things for me.
Holy is his name.
50     He shows mercy to everyone,
from one generation to the next,
who honors him as God.

I draw near to His throne and bow.

My heart sings His praise.

He is my King, forevermore.

May I always sit near His feet.
