Soil of dark loom
Fresh beautiful blooms
Fill my day with light
To traverse and explore
Are they fairies dancing on a stem?
Who are are we to them?
Giants who loom, destroy, or bring life?
Simple beings who take substance from the sun and rain.
Do they dream or play or feel pain?
Do they have a will for life?
These flowers are ones that I have grown in pots. My roses are in a small garden plot in front of my home and return each year with the Spring.
