Birds in the Snow
We had a light dusting of snow. During the winter, I regularly throw bird seed into the yard to attract and help feed our neighborhood birds. These are a few pictures I captured of birds in the snow.

I wish I could have caught a crisper picture of this caridnal on my feeder. I can’t seem to snap my picture fast enough before they fly away.

I love the female cardinal. She is not as bright as her male counterpart, but I love the velvet look of her feathers.

ACK, I have been trying to capture cardinals all season. They are had ones to get. Yea, I am so glad you linked up to LTTL… what fun.
That red cardinal really popped … so pretty against the snow!
Thanks so much for visiting. 😉

I’m SO tired of winter. SO tired.
We’re expecting snow to start any time now.
I’m praying for springtime!

Sweet birds! I know how you feel. Sometimes they move so fast that its really hard to get a good shot. Sometimes you get nothing and you’re lucky if you get something. 🙂
