Ten Things of Thankful
http://summat2thinkon.blogspot.com/

I am really thankful that Considerings starting this new blog hop with her co-hosts Christine, Clark and Joy. Each week, I can use this opportunity to reflect on my week and the things for which I am so thankful. So here is my list for the week. Hope you enjoy. Be sure to join this growing blog hop.  You will enjoy it because it will help you create a spirit of thankfullness in your own life.

1.  I am thankful that my life is full of happiness and good times with family.
2.  I am thankful for answered prayers and blessings from above.
3.  I am thankful my husband works and provides for our family, and especially thankful that he loves his work.
4.  I am thankful that my home is comfortable and beautiful with nice shining floors and cool afternoon shade. I love the way we have fixed it up together over the past 10 years.
5.  I am thankful God is providing the rain our community farmers need to grow crops and keep our families fed.
6.  I am thankful for a good report at the specialist yesterday for my daughter.
7. I am thankful for the memories of happy times with my father who passed away in May 1999, especially as we prepare to celebrate Father’s Day tomorrow.
8.  I am thankful for a fun afternoon with my daughter going to the movies and eating at our local tea shop. We had a nice spot of tea together with dainty tea sandwiches, fruit, soup, and scones. Then we went to see the movie Epic.  It was a great film.
9.  I am thankful to Kristin Hannah for writing yet another great book:  Fly Away.  I love Tully and Katie. Even though fictional, I know a lot of women can identify with their enduring friendships that they created together.   Want to know more about this wonderful book visit Kristin Hannah’s blog at :  http://blog.kristinhannah.com/

10.  I am thinkful that I am writing more and learning more everyday about successful writing.

I’m about to finish a book, so I’m glad to find one with so many good reviews. I’ve never heard of this author, but now I’m anxious to start reading her work.
After last summer’s drought, I will never complain about rain again. Unless my basement floods, of course. ๐Ÿ™‚
Thank you so much for supporting our blog hop and joining up each week. I so enjoy reading everyone’s lists.

Good to see you on ‘the Hop’! Enjoy your view on things, simple and direct.
…and floors!! (don’t ask me why, lol) but I got a visual/memory of sliding in our soaks on the floors of our house (when we very young, of course …I could hardly be seen taking off my shoes and sliding down the hallway floor, could I?

Hi – thanks for linking up with us. It’s so nice to hear that your home has come together after so much work, and it’s beautiful and how you want it – as someone just starting to set up her home, it’s nice to hear that the effort is all worth it in the end.
