February 1, 2015 By Mary Hill 11 Comments

Literacy Musing Mondays

Welcome back to Literacy Musing Mondays! We are starting  the second month of 2015, and it is a Super Bowl Night.  I have read some great books, blog posts, and even magazine articles this week? What about you? You can link up anything that is literacy-related from posts about encouraging reading, the joy of reading, book reviews, literacy games or activities, home school literacy curriculum ideas to discussions about favorite types of books or interesting magazine articles. Just remember to keep it family friendly!

    Hi Mary,
Thank you for coming to the Inspire Me Monday Linky Party. I am Janice, one of your hostesses. I wanted to link up at YOUR linky party, but I write about writing, and I don’t know if that counted as literacy since everyone else linked up about reading.
Here is my link, if you’d like to include it in the Inspire Me Monday party. http://wp.me/p5jxvv-pm
Thanks again for coming, I’m sorry I didn’t go to yours. I didn’t know if writing counted.

Hi, Guess what? I realize I HAVE blogged about literacy! I actually have not one, but two books I’ve blogged about, so I did get to participate in your link up after all.
Nice “meeting” you, and thank you again for joining our Inspire Me Monday Linky party. I’m glad I was able to return the favor after all =) .

Writing does count as literacy in my book. When you write, you are taking part in the process of literacy. Creating works for others to read and enriching literacy for all. I hope you’ll share about writing too. 🙂
