Juxtaposing “Plan” and “Discover”

March 15, 2015 By Mary Hill 3 Comments

Discovery of Gods grace, love, and beauty sometimes means forgetting to plan and just going out on a limb.

Sometimes you have to ditch the plan and just go out on the limb to discover God’s love, beauty, and grace!

March is flying away like the wind. I am busy trying to keep up with several writing challenges including Holly Mueller’s Spiritual Journey Thursdays where we are writing about our One Little Words for the year. I am also rejoining my friend Kate Motaung at Five Minute Friday, a weekly insprirational linkup for bloggers. We come to together for five minutes a week and write non-stop on a one-word prompt.

The prompt word for Spirtual Journeys Thursdays is discover and the prompt for FMF is plan. How do you juxtapose these two words? Here is my attempt.

Juxtaposing Plan and Discover

Finding the new, the fresh

Discovering with a child-like curiosity.

Looking upon the world in wonder,

You can’t plan for the euphoria.

You can’t plan for the movement

Of His sweet, Holy Spirit.

It’s a mystery, you unlock with prayer.

It is something that with slow exploration

You can discover and uncover.

He is waiting for you to discover His love.

His truth, His saving grace.

And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”  – Matthew 18:3

I am also linking up for Day 15 of the March Slice of Life Challenge.

Also linking these posts up with: So Much at Home Linkup Party,  Worshipful Living, Coffee for Your Heart, Thought-Provoking Thursdays,  Coffee and Conversation, Faith and Fellowship Blog Hop, Fellowship Fridays,  #GraceTruth , Friendship Fridays, Weekend Wind-Down Party, Faith Filled Fridays, and Sunday Stillness.

Beautiful! I liked these lines because they are so true!

He is waiting for you to discover His love.

So true, and so easily forgotten.

    Thanks for the reminder
