| Recent cold snap and snow storm brought on a flare up, but the snow was so beautiful. God is Good! |
I don’t like to write about pain much. I have a few times just to participate in special blogging events. I have not posted in two days, however, I wanted to share why.
Arthritis is crippling and painful and 67 million people in the the U.S. suffer from some sort of arthritis. According to the CDC, arthritis and other rheumatic conditions are the most common cause of disability among U.S. adults and have been for the past 15 years.
Making my condition worst this week is my hands and fingers are cracking from severe dry skins and breakout. Typing is hard.
In the meantime, check out my guest blog post as part of Jennifer Hall’s inspiring blog feature: A View From Here. Jennifer is such an inspiring blogger. I enjoyed writing this post for her. Please check out her story too. It will move you and inspire you.
Also be sure that I am praying for all my blogging friends. You make my life sweeter. Thanks for your support and loving comments throughout my first of blogging.

My joint pain that was waning late last year came back. It has made me stay home times and miss going to the library and therefore affects my commenting on blogs. So I understand the stress pain brings. Wishing you all the best and glad you blogged today despite everything going on.
Oh, I understand this all too well! I am not having a full-blown flare-up but my RA has let me know in no uncertain terms that it does not approve of this super-frigid arctic air! I hope that you are finding relief!
I understand this kind of pain too well. My mother lived with severe crippling RA for many years, and it, along with the medications used at that time, destroyed the quality of her life and the time she had left. I live with Fibro, as does my sister, and we live in fear of having what she did. My heart goes out to you, arthritis is not for sissies, but it doe make for a good, informative post for TST, and helps others to understand. I love that you pushed yourself to write a post despite the hurting fingers. I’m praying for better days for you again soon, and I’m headed over now to check out your guest post! 🙂 XOXO, Josie
Great picture of the snow! I hope your arthritis gets better! : )
