Wordless Wednesday: Toddler Years Memories

November 20, 2013 By Mary Hill 1 Comment

By Mary Hill

I have enjoyed sharing my memories of those sweet toddler years as my daughter’s first teacher with my readers as part of my participation in the 30 Day November Write Nonfiction Challenge. As part of the challenge I have focused on “Parental Involvement in Education.”

On Wednesdays, it is also a tradition to celebrate with an (almost) Wordless Wednesday post and then link up with my favorite Wordless Wednesday hops. I hope you will enjoy my pictorial essay of toddler year memories blended with current pictures and a song.

Today’s scripture:

Matthew 18:2-4

2 And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them 3 and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”

Dressing up as a little farmer girl with her cute hat.
Learning about planes on a trip to a small airport in North Carolina
Just a cute picture.

Katie Rose with “Rainbow Fish.”

Her book case and toy drawers, filled with writing materials, books, and remnants of her music center.

The writing storage bin I described in yesterday’s post. It is still filled with pencils, crayons, markers, rulers,  and glue sticks. 🙂
The remnants of her art center, she spends more time playing and writing her music now.

I have shared this before, but I love this song written by my daughter and I hope you will enjoy it too.  I will have more on my parenting series on Friday and Saturday. Thanks for your support.

I am sharing in the following hops. Also be sure to check out my Wednesday blog hop page for even more Wordless Wednesday hops to join. 🙂
