I am reading this on my Kindle; so my teaser is Loc 843, 18 percent:
“‘Doormat, are we there?'” I asked cautiously. It felt weird talking to a carpet, but I asked anyway. I felt him flex a little beneath us, but I didn’t know whether it was just an answer or just the wind.”
…”There were two bumps. Darn, I thought. That meant no. Maybe the carpet really was talking to us. ‘Oh yeah. Did you hear that? I’m not a doffus.’ Zak said. ‘Doormat’s got my back.'”
I also received a new book for my stack. Another prize book from a recent giveaway hosted by Vera Godley:
My teaser from page 158 of this book:
“Miss Walker narrowed her eyes. ‘And what dreadful crimes are you guilty of, pray tell?’
Stretch cleared his throat, his Adam’s apple bobbing up and down like a rubber ball. ‘I’m a wanted man, but it’s all a misunderstaning. All I did was walk into a bank, and a woman teller thrust a bag of money at me. ‘“

That’s so innocent. Sounds like a fun read.
Thanks for stopping by at Kero’s Book Blog.
Fun teasers, and thinks for stopping by my blog! Did you notice where Gunpowder Tea takes place? I’m always looking for good westerns to help finish my 50 states challenges.
Hi there Mary Hill, thanks for sharing those teasers! They all look like interesting books. 🙂 Have a great reading week!
Good teasers this week, both of these look like really good reads.

Great teasers, the second one made me laugh 🙂 Thanks for sharing!
Both are great teasers. My teasers this week come from Grave Witch by Kalayna Price and Iris by Scott Stabile. Happy reading!
That “Gunpowder Tea” looks and sounds like a fun book to read. May have to check this one out for myself.
Good Teasers. Although Yogi’s Curse doesn’t sound like my kind of book, I think I’d enjoy Gunpowder Tea.
My Teaser is from CHRISTMAS CALLING.
