The future according to many in the political fray seems so bleak. According to the candidates our futures depends on who we select for president: Republican or Democrat. I say, however, our future depends on time and believing.

I am proud to say, my future depends on Jesus and His salvation that He offers all mankind.
Time is short. Time is fleeting. That is time in our spiritual sphere. We can look to eternity when we accept Christ’s ultimate sacrifice.
I watched the debates in amusement. These candidates are not the answer to the future of our country. I believe a return to the principals that founded our nation is the answer. When we hold truth dear, our futures are more secure.
Jesus is the answer to future. He can provide all we need. His love is perfect.
I know I have readers who do not worship Jesus and who are of other faiths. I pray you will open your minds to Him too. He is real and the sacrifice He made for you is so real. I have read a lot about Buddha and his followers. I have read many of their writings, including the Dalai Lama. One of his most popular quotes align with the words of Jesus:
The whole purpose of religion
is to facilitate love and compassion, patience,
tolerance, humility, forgiveness.
Dalai Lama
Jesus fulfills everyone of these purposes. In His Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5: 7-9) he stated:
Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.
He offered Himself up as the perfect sacrifice for sin and failure of mankind. [tweetthis twitter_handles=”@MaryHill16″]Jesus is the true path to forgiveness and love.[/tweetthis]
Accepting His word does not mean you have to give up the Buddha Way of Life. Acceptance of Him will enrich it. His love will fill your soul and you will see the truth.
Time to Believe on a Path to the Future. Jesus waits for you on the path. Will you follow Him? I pray you take His hand today.
This post is written for Kate Motaung’s Five Minute Friday challenge where today’s word is “time.” I am also rejoining Holly Mueller’s Spiritual Journey Thursdays where the topic was “believe.”
Additionally, I will linkup with many blog hops and parties listed on my Linkup Parties page. Be sure to check it out because I have updated and added new parties you may want to join!
I’m so glad my future doesn’t depend on politicians! Thank you for the timely reminder 🙂
Love the quotes:)

My mom always taught me to have faith in god and what he has planned for our future. I try my best to believe that. Such a beautiful post.
Politicians are most certainly not the answer! Thank you for your bold belief statements and joining the Spiritual Journey Thursday community this week!
Knowing Christ and reading the Bible certainly gives us a unique perspective on the future. On the one hand, God could ordain that we have another Great Awakening – on the other hand, He could show up one minute from now and take us all to heaven. There’s nothing like speculating about the future to remind us that God is completely sovereign!
What a wonderful post about belief! Very well written and inspirational. Best wishes for 2016 and beyond!

I completely agree with you about our nation needing to return to its founding principles. I am so saddened when I see that many schools aren’t even teaching these fully anymore.
Yet, there is some comfort to be taken in thinking about the vastness of eternity. I keep hoping that time and distance will bring healing to our country.

Love the beautitudes. So much THIS: “Jesus is the answer to future. He can provide all we need. His love is perfect.” I’m in the #11 spot this week.
