Meditate on These Things
Philippians 4: 8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

This Week’s Theme Broken
Broken has such a heavy feel to it. Broken is associated with negative events in your life. Sometimes being broken can be for a purpose to help us grow. When we don’t want to listen to others; when we want to go our own way without thoughts of consequences; and we are to stubborn to admit we were wrong, we often find ourselves broken. It is a lonely place: brokeness. How we use this time is important. We can use it to grow and mature, or we can become bitter and blame others. It is up to us. After the brokeness comes healing and happiness. Hang in there during these times, God will provide a way out even if we got ourselves in trouble. He is a good God. Take a moment to pray and ask for His help and deliverance. He will take us to the place we need to be.

I am new here, but I love your blog!
Hi, Mary! Our five minute friday post had the same theme and idea. Loved reading yours!
This is great Mary. I’ve seen 5 minute friday posts, but didn’t realize it was themed. I kinda like it that. Gives you a challenge. Thanks for stopping by the weekend showcase and I hope to see more of your posts in the coming weeks. Have a great rest of the weekend!
Lots of blogs for me to check out! Love your new design.
Yeah! Thanks for the awesome shout out about the Friday Flash Blog on The Jenny Evolution. I really do love seeing everyone’s posts. And, trust me, I’m not crafty either. (I barely passed 3rd grade art.) But I do love looking at all of the amazing things people create. Keep writing and I’ll keep reading 🙂
I love how you take a negative thing like Broken and spin it into a positive. The new blog design is lovely and pleasing to the eye. Also I gave you a Shine On blog award today. I too enjoy meeting new bloggers and time management is a pricess. Enjoy your weekend Mary.
Mary, I have to say I am loving the new blog design. Gorgeous and very pleasing to the eye. I am also with you on the pros and cons, specifically balance, which I still really haven’t found yet. Thank you as always for linking up with us!! 🙂
Thanks so much for the mention!
I love your new look. Very nicely done.
Have a terrific day and weekend. ☺
