The writer of the blog Considering invited me to take part in her blog hop this weekend. It went live last night. I have been working on my list for the10 Things of Thankful Blop Hop ever since. Here are my 10 things. Hope you enjoy the images and music.
1. Salvation and grace through Jesus.
2. Family, human and furry, bring blessings and happiness immeasurable.
3. A beautiful home to call my own provided by a loving husband.
4. My grand babies. We have a total of three. Our youngest joined us this afternoon us to watch my seventh thing to be thankful about.
5. A good report from my doctors regarding my anemia yesterday. I found out that I do have an ulcer that has been bleeding. I have had to five iron infusions since the end of April because my feron and hemoglobin levels had fallen really low. I shared with my readers that my maternal grandmother died from aplastic anemia so that fear lingered all month. I can tell people have been praying. Thank you. 6. Being missed by Tropical Storm Andrea. Forecastors feared the storm would bring flooding and potential severe thunderstorms and tornadoes to my state. The storm, however, picked up speed and moved quicker than projected and caused less damage than feared.
7. My college baseball team playing well (right now) in their Super Regional tournament against the North Carolina Tar Heels. (I hope I didn’t jinx them. It was so close. Tomorrow they will make a come back.)
8. My new blogging friends from all over the blogosphere.
9. A chance to write everyday and spend time with my daughter during her summer vacation.
10. Being happy, loved, and having so much to look forward too.

I was so happy to participate in this blog hop. Thanks for sharing what you are thankful for- it is a lot of great things!
If each of these things is more valuable than any monetary value, you are truly rich.

Aw, what a wonderful list. I love that you ended it with having so much to look forward to. Beautiful photo of your gorgeous grandbaby too!
I love that song, and he has such a nice voice for it.
Such a cute grandbaby you have there.
Glad you are getting the medication and treatment you need to help with your anemia. I am very grateful for doctors and medicine, too.
A wonderful list and a pleasure to read.
Yvonne.
Ahhhh you’re right about the wonderful husbands. I’m glad to hear your anaemia is under control and you’re getting the right medical attention for it. This is a fantastic list. Loved the photographs. Thank you for joining in 🙂
Will be back next week for another hop.
very excellent List!
‘specially identify with number 8 (and not just because of the number of people I have come to know) but the simple fact that I tend to be not-so-outgoing, so with the blogs (and especially the blog hops) I get to ‘hang around’ with the cool crowd and then work up my nerve. lol
see you on the circuit
Oh so happy to hear you got a good report on your anemia and will definitely keep you in my thoughts and prayers. And your grand-baby is adorable (loved the picture!!). Hope you are having a great weekend and so happy to see you on this hop, too!! 🙂
Thanks. I had a reason this time and I am on medication to cure it.
So glad that the storm passed you by! What a great list!
Thank you so much for linking up with us!
What a nice list! Glad the storm missed you! Our worst storm month is May, and I can’t say I’m sorry to see May go by.
Our Spring was a quiet one this year. Thankfully we did not have any serious storms this year like poor Oklahomians did.
