The Blog Workshop: An Online Conference Opportunity Not to Miss

I received the opportunity to view the conference recordings for free from The Blog Workshop. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. No matter where you are at in your blogging career, there is always more information to learn. I am a newbie and just starting out; so, when Sverve posted an opportunity to review The Blog Workshop’s Online Conference recordings, I jumped at the chance.

Headed by well-known blogging entreprenuer and lifestyle blogger Da Vinci, founder of YourLifeAfter25.com, The Blog Workshop also sponsors an annual online blogger conference. This years conference was held May 16th through the 18th, but don’t be bummed if you missed it. For a mere $175, you can obtain full access to the recordings of the conference. The really neat thing about this access is that it will be open for a whole six months so that you can take time to review the materials and sessions at your convenience. Additionally, you will be able to download the conference workbook to keep as an ongoing reference that is rich with additional links and resources to help you with blogging career.

As I stated before, I gained full access to these recordings in exchange for this review. I was also encouraged to offer my opinions honestly so that you can judge for yourself the value of purchasing the recordings.

This review is difficult to write because the amount of quality information available from the experts is hard to sum up in a quick review. Just check out the agenda below and you will see what I mean:

Each of the sessions are very informative. You will learn about basic blogging and how to get started by drafting your blog business plan which includes writing a mission statement, establishing a niche, and planning posts and articles to include on your blog. You will also learn the basics of SEO, or search engine optimization, which will drive more traffic to your blog. You learn about opportunities to earn income as a blogger as well as learn the basics of how to keep up with income for tax purposes. Did I mention vlogging? A whole session is dedicated to this topic and includes some really good tips on how to incorporate video journaling into your blog and the advantages of doing so.

As part of my own personal mission which is stated at the top of my blog, I want to represent companies that fit my belief system which involves environmentalism and charity.
