1. It is that time of week again. This listing things to be thankful for never gets old. In fact, it is the best thing in the world that could be happening right now. We have conflict in Syria and tragedies happening daily. If you let the world crash in on you and bring you down, it will. I pray for everyone tonight with loved ones in Syria. This list, though, is a sanctuary from the troubles in the world, at least for me. I may not get to comment on everyone’s lists but I do read them every week, and they are a blessing.
2. I am so thankful for a week of love that started with a special wedding. Here are some of the scenes to enjoy, along with videos of some of the songs to which we celebrated.
My youngest brother with his wife and daughter dancing to “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts..
My niece dances with my brother in the traditional dance with father and daughter.
My daughters with their newly wed cousin
Cutting the cake
Presenting the new Mr. and Mrs. My niece looked so lovely. π
3. My daughter loves to dance and party. I guess she comes by it naturally. She kept us out late because she did not want to miss a dance.
Dancing to the Cupid Shuffle
4. Where did the time go. My daughter is growing into a beautiful young lady. I miss when she was so small and sweet. I will treasure everyday with her.
5. I am honored that my blog was featured on: http://asthecrackerheadcrumbles.blogspot.com/2013/09/sites-to-see.html
6. Hi, I am only 5 people from reaching 500 Google + followers. I am excited that folks are responding to my blog. I credit this hop with that. I have met so many new bloggers on it. I would love to reach 500 this weekend.
7. More baby bunnies. I will have to get a picture of the hairless, just born little ones we found today. We are trying to give away the first six to good homes. Remember, these are wonderful creatures with love to share and not just Easter bunnies. We are getting an extra pen in which to put daddy bunny today so that we will not have anymore surprises.8. I am finally getting over this cold; at least, I hope so. I have been sick for two and half weeks.
9. I received a new book to review today. I hope to have the review up on Mary-andering Among the Pages next week. If you have not already done so, meander over there and join my sister site too. The link is up top in my tabs Mary-andering Creatively Book Reviews. I really appreciate the support.
10. The beginnig of another week for which to be thankful.
The baby bunnies are so cute!
Lots of wonderful things. A happy wedding is at the top of the list. The bride and groom look so happy — and young. I guess I’m just getting older. π
Hi, thanks. I appreciate your support.
yeah what’s the deal with colds?!*
I’m big believer in keeping your resistance as high as possible being the only real defense.
Good to hear about the google followers, will check to make sure I am one of them (add if not)
great use of photos and music to convey the feelings of what is clear a very special day for you and the family!
*er…clark, always been there, nothing special…just annoying (for most)lol
Hi, thank you. I am really glad you enjoyed it. I will check your blog out and make sure I am following you too. π
Such a lovely post!
Congratulations to the happy couple!
Thanks so much. I love book reviews too and will be visiting your blog soon. π
Fun post! It is amazing the things we can be thankful for when we take the time to notice life happening around us. I visited from Make My Saturday Sweet.
Have a blessed Sunday,
Joanne
Joanne, thanks so much. I hope you have a great Sunday too.
Happy photos! Congrats for your niece and your little girl is sweet. I hope your sister blog is going strong and I’m so glad you have received a new book to review. That’s always a lot of fun. It’s hard work running more than one blog and I wish you all the best.
Thanks Christina. Working on the sister blog today. I had a lot book reviews I did that I am going to redo. Hope to have a Sunday hop blog up today on my readings.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
Great music for a wedding! I had no idea that song was called the Cupid Shuffle. Can’t help but dance when you hear that song!
Your niece was a beautiful bride. And your youngest daughter…So cute. This whole kids growing up thing is getting on my last nerve.
Congrats on the big Google numbers!
I really hope you are on the tail end of your illness, and next week you will be able to shout about how much better you feel.
Thanks. I am feeling well today. Me too. They grow up way to quick. π
Oh, those bunnies! But, yes, it seems Daddy Bunny is a little round-heeled and needs to be separated from the ladies.
What a pretty wedding! Can’t go wrong when Journey is played at your reception!
Beautiful bride and I love that Rascal Flatts song. Glad you had a fun week!
I hope you feel better soon, Mary. Glad to hear the cold might be beginning to relent.
The wedding looks (and sounds) like it was a stunningly beautiful event. I love seeing all the happy faces as your Niece and her husband set out on their life together.
Glad you’ve met more people through this – I feel every bit as grateful – I’ve been privileged to make some fantastic friends through this hop.
And re: Daddy Bunny – new pen – wise move π Hope you find homes for the babies soon.
We went and got a hutch tonight. I will post the pictures of his new home once we get it set up. π I am doing better. I made it through the weather taking too many cough drops and took cold meds right before. Had a tough week though. Thanks for the well wishes. Catching them and not anymore germs. π
What a lovely wedding. Weddings are such fun.
Have a terrific day. π
Thanks Sandee. I am working on an Awww Cute for Monday. π
