Talking About Favorite Hero’s and Bad Boys

July 7, 2013 By Mary Hill 1 Comment

So today we are highlighting those bad boys we love to love…despite knowing that they may not be the best for us. 🙂
Okay, here are my “hound dogs” from the books I have read and loved over the years.
Lestat from Interview with A Vampire,  Ann Rice

“You sense my loneliness, (…) my bitterness at being shut out of life. My bitterness that I’m evil, that I don’t deserve to be loved and yet I need love hungrily. My horror that I can never reveal myself to mortals. But these things don’t stop me, Mother. I’m too strong for them to stop me. As you said yourself once, I am very good at being what I am. These things merely now and then make me suffer, that’s all”
― Anne Rice, The Vampire Lestat

I finally finished Don’t Go by Lisa Scottoline. I don’t read books as fast as I used to. Plus, it has been a busy week.  I have enjoyed participating in the read-a-thon.

Really racking my brain on this one. We are supposed to list a character from a book that we would have a fling with if he were a real person.

Ty Bazemore from Mary Kay Andrews, Summer Rental. Sorry, I couldn’t find a picture, but I found this description in the book.

Glad you enjoyed the read-a-thon. Lestat is a favourite of mine as well. This novel is still one of Anne Rice’s best work.
