What a great week! It is easy to be full of thankfulness today.
1. I have a wonderful family.
2. We had a great vacation in Charlotte.
3. We were blessed to be up and close with all kinds of wonderful, God-created creatures.4. We had travel mercies and returned home safely.
5. My daughter is just days away from embarking on her fifth grade year. Remember those days? To say, her excitement is boiling over is an understatement.
6. We were blessed to be able to provide her with back-to-school supplies and clothing.
7. I am moving forward as a writer and am blessed with ideas and new friends who bring lots of encouragement.
8. The trip to the Billy Graham Library reminded me of a legacy of Christian service and ministry that has blessed my family for generations. My father preached the Gospel for most of his life. When he died he had marked all his Bibles in the house to 2 Corinthians 5:1. He knew that day that his body would pass away, but in a few short hours he would be present with Christ for eternity.
10. I am blessed again because my husband’s son preaches and pastors his own church. My sister’s husband serves the Lord too as a pastor of his own church in Georgia.
11. I have a chance to attend a great conference for Christian bloggers in Greenville, South Carolina called Allume. I need prayer though because I need a ticket. I need a real miracle of God because the conference is sold out, and I need the funds to buy said ticket. Here is the Allume website http://allume.com that includes more information about this opportunity. I know if God wants me at this conference, He will make it happen.
12. I couldn’t stop at 10 this week. I am thankful for another day of life to be blessed. π

I pray for all my readers this week. May God bless you and your families. May your blessings be more than you can count and name and may you wake with a glad heart full of joy no matter the circumstances you face. God is Good!
In memory of my father,
Earl Willam Pearson, April 15, 1942 to May 25, 1999.

Sounds like a wonderful week!
This list is such a blessing to those who read it, Mary…thank you for sharing!
Praying that you get that ticket…and eager to hear the story of how the Lord will provide it!
Your list is beautiful, as always, plus I get to enjoy the little rose cursor as I read π
When I saw that you went to Billy Graham’s Library, it made me think of his son and the wonderful organization “Samaritan’s Purse.” They were a true blessing here after the tornado.
…have never been to South Carolina, from everything I read, it (the Mid-Atlantic region) seems to be the perfect balance of climate and things of interest.
This seems to be the time of year for conferences and gatherings. Dyanne mentioned one and there was another TToT that talked about going to a gathering. Hope you make it to yours!
Always happy to read lists that are direct and reflect the feeling of gratitude (for what we have). Very helpful to me.
Hope you get your ticket… Quite a wonderful list…
THanks for stopping by my site this week , Mary! I love this list…it makes me happy to read it!
Isn’t it lovely to be able to count your blessings, and find there aren’t enough fingers to count them on Mary? π
I pray that you get your ticket but, if it doesn’t happen, I’m sure God will be having better plans for you π
I love your thankful posts. They shine with huge amounts of thankful.
Have a terrific weekend. π
Now this was a blessed list indeed, Mary, I felt lifted up just by reading it!! #12 is the best of all… just having another day to live and love is such a joyful blessings, and one that we need to remind ourselves of each morning! What adventures await us today, what opportunities to brighten the lives of others? This list is a wonderful place to start!
I enjoyed all your “Mary-anderings”…and your “thank-fulls”….truly full of grace!
Aloha…
Praying for that ticket for you Mary and love that you couldn’t stop at 10. Truly looks like you have a lot to be thankful for indeed. Have a wonderful weekend now!! π
Wow! Mary, EPIC amounts of blessings in your life this week. That’s awesome. I love the pictures (especially the caterpillar, cos I love little creepy-crawly things). So glad that your daughter’s excited about school – that’s such a wonderful attitude to have, and contains many blessings within it.
I’m glad your holiday was great, and hope you have a fabulous time at the conference – and that we hear more about it once you’re back – sounds amazing π Thank you for sharing this abundance with us – perfect for the Tenth Week of Ten Things π
That is cool, Charlotte is like 30 minutes from me. I do remember those days and now my daughter is going to the sixth, it is crazy.
