Quick Pitch for an Old Friend!

March 5, 2013 By Mary Hill Leave a Comment

Hi,  I want to let everyone know about my special friend Paula Wethington Rose. We went to college together and worked on the University of South Carolina’s Gamecock newspaper. Those were the days right, Paula.  Deadlines, time crunches, creative writing, and term papers. I look back fondly on my days at USC and all the friends I have made through the years. Life takes each of us on some many different avenues. Paula is a successful local blogger in her hometown on Monroe, MI.  She is a great writer and I am sure you will enjoy her news and updates no matter where you live. We all need a little support.  Thanks, Paula, for all you do for your town and readers!

Here is her information:

“I host or co-host multiple blogs because I’m on the social media team at my newspaper, The Monroe Evening News in Monroe, MI. But the most active / most popular one is my personal finance and frugal living beat, Monroe on a Budget. http://www.blogsmonroe.com/budget.

This morning’s post is a public service announcement, but there have always been a lot of “big picture” discussions. This afternoon I’ll post today’s newspaper column about high school memorabilia such as class rings and varsity jackets; and I’m participating in Women’s Money Week this week.
