By Mary Hill

My daughter recently participated in our American Cancer Society Relay for Life Pageant. She is not a regular pageant participant. This year though she decided to participate in the memory of her Papa and MeMaw that she has never met. I have not met them either. Before I met my husband both had died. Her Papa had suffered with cancer for a number of years, but he died of a stroke. Her MeMaw died from breast cancer.
Special invitation: On another note, I would like everyone to join me at Mary-andering Thoughts and Issues where I have a guest contributor: Holly from Not Done Growing. She is giving us the scoop on her latest Charity of the Month series on her blog. Thanks for your support! Together we can make a difference.
Another great hop to join hosted by Neptune Review.

Your daughter is beautiful. So nice that she participated in the pageant in memory of her Papa and MeMaw.
Lovely photos of your daughter. And good for her for participating in such a worthwhile cause. She’s a beautiful girl! 🙂
Some lovely pictures of your daughter, That horrible word beginning with C brings me out in a cold sweat, having lost my husband to it.
Yvonne.
Thanks. I know cancer is awful. She is a sweet girl for participating and wanting to help others.
