Life can be so uncomplicated at times. When you hurt, you rest. My week has been simple: a time of rest.
I hate that I have not been able to post like I wanted to, but I move forward and press on.
God is good and wonderful. He can see you through anything.
I love my Jesus and praise Him for His daily deliverance.
This week’s prompt at Mama Kat’s Writing Workshop deals with “Something that is a challenge for you.”
It is a challenge for me to write through pain and keep going. I approach this challenge with honesty and hope. This pain is only momentary and will pass. It is better to write a little everyday even when pain is intense than not to write at all.
Prayer and mediation on the good things in your life will spark you to overcome anything. I have focused on the beauty around me. I focus on the love around me. I hope you will enjoy my theme song for the week and find hope and love in my post today. God Bless.
I also love this quote that I found on Simple Stacie. The picture and quote are so fitting to my current challenge.

That’s a beautiful quote and so true. When I’m feeling that way I pull particular friends and family closer to me. It helps to have them near and of course writing is a great release. Take it in stride.
Hi Mary…I’m a new follower…found your blog through the Celebrate The Small Things bloghop. As a fellow chronic pain sufferer, I understand what you’re going through (maybe not exactly, but I can relate). And it’s okay to slow down when your body needs you to. God Bless…I hope your weekend is better for you!

Praying for you and relief. You are wise to rest in between doing what you can. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and story with us here at “Tell Me a Story.” http://letmetelluastory.blogspot.com/
I’m sorry your pain is so great. I’m glad that you can rest and yet still press yourself to keep writing. E. Hemmingway said, “Write long and hard about what hurts,”
“This too shall pass” is a phrase I use often. It does help. Hope your pain subsides soon.
I’m so sorry for your pain but glad you stay positive and look to God.
I’m so sorry to hear that you have been in pain. I’m sending hugs and prayers.
I’m sorry for the pain you are feeling. I like your attitude, though… “this too shall pass.” And, it will!
The past few weeks have been tough for me as well and I had to let go of a weekly link-up I ran because I wasn’t posting hardly at all.
Pain is certainly a challenge to move through, and we do what we need to do to survive it. I hope you feel better soon!
